At roughly 2.5 acres of surface area and sandy beaches, The Shores Resort Lagoon is the largest private body of water in the St. George area. The lagoon is the perfect place to swim, kayak, paddleboard, and much more! Recreation equipment can be rented on-site, as well as golf carts and cabanas. Two gorgeous resort pools, oversized hot tubs, ample shaded seating, and 10-foot fire tables are just the beginning of the offerings at The Shores Resort. The Desert Color community hosts fun activities throughout the year—like rooftop yoga, kid’s crafts, food truck nights, and even dive-in movies on the big screen at the pool or lagoon. These events are offered on a rotating basis, so be sure to check the Desert Color event calendar for the latest schedule during your stay!

There is a designated parking lot for RVs, trailers, and boats. The cost is
$15 per vehicle per stay. All vehicles must be registered in advance to park in this lot. Please contact

The Dugout is a perfect home for large groups with multiple family areas, the bunk rooms were a hit for the kids. The little ones enjoyed the on site pool, the proximity to lagoon entrance was convenient and roof deck was perfect for smote making. We loved Desert Color 2025! Highly recommended…

The property was more than we imagined…everyone was comfortable in their own bedrooms and family shared areas were spacious. The only downfall is the spotty wifi service. Hope to return.

We had 11 adults, and eight of our grandchildren, all under the age of 10 the small pool and hot tub, right outside the kitchen were awesome for the kids to swim and play while we prepared meals. There were multiple large gathering areas to spend time with family. Everything was very clean, and there were more than enough rooms for all of us. The kids really loved the lagoon area, as did the adults. We also played pickle ball twice. We made a recommendation for stocking more paper towels, and shampoo/conditioner. We also made a recommendation to improve the Wi-Fi connection. Everything else was fantastic, five stars.
