Enjoy soothing soaks and when the sun sets, gather around the fire table for cozy conversations under the stars. Perfect for families or groups, with a bunk room featuring 3 Twin over Twin built-in bunks, ideal for the younger guests. Each of the other three bedrooms is thoughtfully designed and comes with its own private bathroom, ensuring everyone's comfort and privacy. Sunsets and Sandcastles truly has everything you're looking for in a vacation rental!

Your key fob will also grant you access to the Sky Decks on top of the Promenade, Surf, and Sand Buildings on the SW side of the Lagoon. Enjoy the rooftop hot tub, lounge chairs, and community views from 10:00am to 10:00pm. Please note, the Sand Building does not have a rooftop hot tub, but you are welcome to enjoy the hot tubs on top of the Surf or Promenade Buildings.

At roughly 2.5 acres of surface area and sandy beaches, The Shores Resort Lagoon is the largest private body of water in the St. George area. The lagoon is the perfect place to swim, kayak, paddleboard, and much more! Recreation equipment can be rented on-site, as well as golf carts and cabanas. Two gorgeous resort pools, oversized hot tubs, ample shaded seating, and 10-foot fire tables are just the beginning of the offerings at The Shores Resort. The Desert Color community hosts fun activities throughout the year—like rooftop yoga, kid’s crafts, food truck nights, and even dive-in movies on the big screen at the pool or lagoon. These events are offered on a rotating basis, so be sure to check the Desert Color event calendar for the latest schedule during your stay!

There is a designated parking lot for RVs, trailers, and boats. The cost is
$15 per vehicle per stay. All vehicles must be registered in advance to park in this lot. Please contact
our team prior to arrival for registration details and instructions.

We would like to advise you that during this time, the Desert Color Community is experiencing ongoing construction in proximity to your vacation rental. While this will not impact your use of any of the provided amenities, we want to remind all guests only to use the designated and completed roads and pathways, and to steer clear of any active construction activity. Our Group of 15 had a great stay. Lots of space for us to spread out. All the beds were comfy. Having 4 full baths and a half bathroom was great for our large group. The house was very clean and had lots of blankets and towels. Lots of board games available for the kids. We had a great time and will plan to stay again.

We absolutely loved our stay here! The property was gorgeous, and the pool and lagoon were truly amazing, so peaceful and relaxing. My family had the best time and we’re already planning to come back. Everyone we interacted with at the lagoon and pool was so kind and helpful, which made the experience even better. And wow, the Utah views and hikes were incredible! Definitely worth staying here.

This place is awesome! The house is amazing, and the comfort items inside the home made it perfect! Extra blankets, more than enough towels! All the toys in the garage were an excellent addition to the house. They even have a carry wagon to bring the stuff over to the lagoon! They really thought of everything and more! They have a great play table that’s touch screen upstairs and we had fun using that! The hot tub area was amazing!

This is a beautiful, and spacious new home! We would stay here again in a heartbeat! It comfortably fit our large family. Lots of things to entertain! A TV in every room, an electronic game table, card games and activities for the whole family. Not to mention a private hot tub, fire pit, and kayak and paddle boards to use at the Lagoon within walking distance. We enjoyed cooking meals for our family in the fully equipped kitchen, and also used the Blackstone griddle to easily cook for our family. Highly recommend this property!

The host was very friendly and helpful, but since there was no cellphone reception in the area it made it harder to communicate with them, get the Wi-Fi password right away and you’ll be fine.

Our Group of 15 had a great stay. Lots of space for us to spread out. All the beds were comfy. Having 4 full baths and a half bathroom was great for our large group.
