Southern Solace is equipped with entertainment options for all ages. Challenge your friends and family to a game of pickleball with the provided paddles, or indulge in some friendly competition on the Xbox. A selection of games and cards ensures that there's never a dull moment during your stay.

Pet-Friendly: Bring your loveable pets with you! This property is dog-friendly and accommodates a maximum of 2 dogs. An additional pet fee is automatically added to each reservation. If you want to book this property but are not bringing a pet, please give Red Rock a call after booking and we can remove that charge for you.

Your key fob will also grant you access to the Sky Decks on top of the Promenade, Surf, and Sand Buildings on the SW side of the Lagoon. Enjoy the rooftop hot tub, lounge chairs, and community views from 10:00am to 10:00pm. Please note, the Sand Building does not have a rooftop hot tub, but you are welcome to enjoy the hot tubs on top of the Surf or Promenade Buildings.

At roughly 2.5 acres of surface area and sandy beaches, The Shores Resort Lagoon is the largest private body of water in the St. George area. The lagoon is the perfect place to swim, kayak, paddleboard, and much more! Recreation equipment can be rented on-site, as well as golf carts and cabanas. Two gorgeous resort pools, oversized hot tubs, ample shaded seating, and 10-foot fire tables are just the beginning of the offerings at The Shores Resort. The Desert Color community hosts fun activities throughout the year—like rooftop yoga, kid’s crafts, food truck nights, and even dive-in movies on the big screen at the pool or lagoon. These events are offered on a rotating basis, so be sure to check the Desert Color event calendar for the latest schedule during your stay!

There is a designated parking lot for RVs, trailers, and boats. The cost is
$15 per vehicle per stay. All vehicles must be registered in advance to park in this lot. Please contact
our team prior to arrival for registration details and instructions.

We would like to advise you that during this time, the Desert Color Community is experiencing ongoing construction in proximity to your vacation rental. While this will not impact your use of any of the provided amenities, we want to remind all guests only to use the designated and completed roads and pathways, and to steer clear of any active construction activity. Our stay was wonderful! Our place was exactly like the photos, it was comfortable and plenty of room for 8 of us! The kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals and feel at home. The lagoon was not open during our stay, which was disappointing but we can’t wait to visit again when it is. Definitely worth staying here!

This place was perfect for our long weekend in the St. George/Mesquite area. It was just as advertised. Very clean and comfortable. My son loved that it had an xbox for him to play. It has pickle ball courts that we took advantage of, as well as a pool and giant lake/pool that we will definitely come back for.
