At roughly 2.5 acres of surface area and sandy beaches, The Shores Resort Lagoon is the largest private body of water in the St. George area. The lagoon is the perfect place to swim, kayak, paddleboard, and much more! Recreation equipment can be rented on-site, as well as golf carts and cabanas (which can also be reserved at the time of booking). A gorgeous resort pool, 10-foot fire tables, and an oversized hot tub are just the beginning of the offerings at The Shores Resort. Roof-top Yoga classes, kid’s crafts and activities, Food Truck nights, and even Dive-In Movies where you can watch a fun movie on the big screen from the pool or Lagoon are just some of the fun events you can experience when you stay at the Desert Color community!
Your key fob will also grant you access to the Springs Social Spa, an oversized hot tub area located on the corner of Marilla and Akoya Pearl Street. This is a gated area that a limited number of properties will have access to. The spa hours are 10 am to 10 pm.

What people are saying about this property
Great place to stay! Will definitely be back
Great property at a great location. The house is really set-up well, roomy and accurately described on the listing. Very well equipped with everything you could need for a great stay. Location right next the lagoon is ideal and the open air design is perfect for the location. We enjoyed our stay very much. There is a lot of construction in the area, but it really is a minor nuisance at worst and did not impact our stay at all. Highly recommend.
The weather didn't cooperate for our trip, but WOW was the property and location amazing. The townhome was clean, well furnished, and ton's of fun things to do. We had a blast trying to use every last resource from the dartboard, hot tub, ping pong, and the amazing Desert Color facilities. We started to look for open weekends to come back before we ever left! Hope to be back soon (with the weather a bit warmer)!
Great stay.
This house is beautiful and quite possibly has the best location on the lagoon with lounge chairs just steps away. We had three separate families and the bedroom arrangement worked great with three “masters” and two bunk rooms in between. One master on the main, which is where the hot tub is located off. There is also outside access to the hot tub. FYI the laundry room was large enough for us to put a full size crib in it for our son with special needs. The construction was a bit more of a problem than I expected, but I can’t say we weren’t warned. The house next door is under construction and debris would fall onto our walkway / side yard. And there is definitely construction noise all around, however it mostly falls into the background. The listing doesn’t mention it, but the house came with two paddleboards, so we didn’t need to get ours out. There is a dart board outside that is fun, but almost all of the darts are broken. There is also cornhole however it is “toy” quality so if you’re serious about the game, maybe bring your own. But it gets the job done and it sure is fun playing right next to the lagoon and jumping in when you get hot. Be aware that if thunderstorms are in the forecast, the resort staff is very conservative and closes down the lagoon with lightning within 20 miles. However the storms were almost always in the evening and made for some great entertainment. All in all we can’t wait to come back.
This place took my breath away! You walk in and the place is so conveniently located, with a fully stocked kitchen(even kids cups and plates and oils and vinegars, popcorn, s’mores stuff!) the view is GORGEOUS and the lagoon is basically your private pool since it’s in your backyard. The beds were so so soft that when I came home, I bought new pillows to try and replicate it. Tons of rooms so I could put my son and baby down for a nap but also be conveniently nearby the water and not miss out on fun in the sun! There were games and books for adults and toddlers which was a very thoughtful touch. They have their own paddle board so we didn’t need to rent them, an awesome grill which we used every night and sitting around the outdoor fireplace drinking icy margaritas was amazing. Seriously, it was the best vacation I’ve had in like 10 years. I will definitely be going back!
