Guests can enjoy paddleboarding on the lagoon, lounging on the Sky Deck with its outdoor fireplace and hot tub, or simply unwinding in the fully equipped kitchen and spacious living area after a day of adventure.

Located just a two-minute walk from the lagoon, this thoughtfully designed getaway combines the fun of resort living with the comfort of home. With pickleball equipment, board games, and family-friendly amenities like a stroller, wagon, and Pack ‘n Play, every detail has been considered for an effortless stay. Whether you’re soaking up the sun on the sandy beaches or relaxing under the stars on the Sky Deck, this Desert Color gem is your perfect base for rest, recreation, and relaxation.

Your key fob will also grant you access to the Sky Decks on top of the Promenade, Surf, and Sand Buildings on the SW side of the Lagoon. Enjoy the rooftop hot tub, lounge chairs, and community views from 10:00am to 10:00pm. Please note, the Sand Building does not have a rooftop hot tub, but you are welcome to enjoy the hot tubs on top of the Surf or Promenade Buildings.

At roughly 2.5 acres of surface area and sandy beaches, The Shores Resort Lagoon is the largest private body of water in the St. George area. The lagoon is the perfect place to swim, kayak, paddleboard, and much more! Recreation equipment can be rented on-site, as well as golf carts and cabanas. Two gorgeous resort pools, oversized hot tubs, ample shaded seating, and 10-foot fire tables are just the beginning of the offerings at The Shores Resort. The Desert Color community hosts fun activities throughout the year—like rooftop yoga, kid’s crafts, food truck nights, and even dive-in movies on the big screen at the pool or lagoon. These events are offered on a rotating basis, so be sure to check the Desert Color event calendar for the latest schedule during your stay!

There is a designated parking lot for RVs, trailers, and boats. The cost is
$15 per vehicle per stay. All vehicles must be registered in advance to park in this lot. Please contact our team prior to arrival for registration details and instructions.

Owner review: Thanks for your interest in our property! Family Friendly Lagoon in Desert Color is an incredible hidden gem that is truly an oasis vacation in the beautiful colorful deserts of Southern Utah. From our unit, it's just a short walk across the street to access the 2.5-acre lagoon with sandy beaches, a heated swimming pool, and a hot tub. For even closer relaxation there is an amazing rooftop sky deck with beautiful desert and Lagoon views, hot tub, BBQ grill (grilling supplies in condo), patio tables/furniture, and a fire pit table. The condo also includes two paddle boards for Lagoon use. You can laze in the sun or get a good workout paddling around. The sun shade, beach chairs, and cooler in the condo, make relaxing and enjoying the whole afternoon on the beach and in the water easy. The short walk across the street also gets you to a sandy volleyball court, sand for the kids to play in, and pickleball courts with all the amenities in the condo to use in these areas (volleyball, pickleball paddles and balls, sand toys). For your convenience, there is a wagon to haul everything back and forth as well as an elevator for ease. You also have one assigned covered parking spot. Inside the unit, there is a fully stocked kitchen where you can cook extravagant meals or something quick and easy. Walmart is less than a 10-minute drive away. You can even have Walmart deliver with Walmart Plus. There are Smart TV’s in every room. For your ease when traveling with young ones, there is a pack-and-play bed, booster seat/highchair, play mat, children's books, board games, card games, and some misc. toys. All bedding and towels are provided. For those who still want to get more of a little workout, there is a yoga mat, bands, and light weights available. The area is located not far from the St George airport. There is a variety of recreation for everyone nearby. Mountain biking, hiking, and running trails. Great place to stay for all ages. The lagoon is amazing. Sand to play in, two provided paddle boards to use, pickleball courts with provided racquets... So much to do! It is also just ten minutes from basically everything I\'m St George. We loved it!
