Your stay at Edgewater

Mornings at Edgewater mean stepping out to the pool deck with coffee and watching the lagoon light up as the St George sun rises. The home is built to host togetherness and movement—big breakfasts around the dining table, easy transitions through accordion doors to poolside lounging, and afternoon paddleboard runs on the warm lagoon water. Kids and teens find their corners in the bunk rooms and game zones while adults gravitate to the pool, the party deck fire pit, or a quiet suite for a sunset moment.

Afternoons naturally flow to the Desert Color Lagoon where sandy beaches, calm paddle conditions, and resort pools invite play and slow afternoons. Evenings are for large shared meals, fire pit conversations, and late night movie marathons across the gathering areas. With space for forty two, Edgewater is built for reunions, milestone weekends, tournament groups, and celebrations that need room to breathe.

The house itself is nice and beautifully decorated. However, the outdoor furniture by the pool was lacking. They only had two pool chairs-both were wet the entire time and one had rips in the upholstery. The other outdoor furniture was dirty, we didn’t feel like we could use it because it was gross. Also, the dishwasher was not working the entire time we were there so we had to hand wash our dishes. And a plumbing fixture in the primary bathroom sink was broken. These things felt inconvenient and considering how much we paid per night, it was frustrating.

Everyone was comfortable and had their own space. We will stay there again. Positive: We loved the pool, lagoon and paddle boards, many king sized beds and the bunk rooms. Negative: We needed a big cooking pot. For a house that size, large pots would be helpful. The end. Everything else was perfect!

We had an amazing family reunion at the house. We will for sure do it again. Having a private pool was so fun and essential because the Lagoon was broken during our stay. We missed having it, but it would have been much worse without the pool. So much space, lots of bathrooms, kitchen had all the essentials. It was fantastic.

We had a large group of 8 families and this house was perfect! A room and bathroom for each family, plenty of dining space for meal time, 3 different living areas, etc. The location was ideal… right on the lagoon! Would recommend for large groups.

We absolutely loved our stay at Desert Color! We had a large family of 28, 10 adults and 18 children. It was nonstop, fun and the kids loved it! The bunk rooms were magical for the kids! I think my favorite thing was the cleanliness of the entire resort and the Edgewater home. Plenty of room and space for everyone. The small children really loved the outdoor pool because it was much warmer than the lagoon. The water boards were in the lagoon nonstop, which was super fun! Everything worked well in the house except the air conditioning was poor on the second level in a couple of rooms. Plenty of seating on the main floor and the kitchen was extremely well equipped and comfortable. The obstacle course was a huge hit for all ages. It would be nice, however, to have more than two master keys on lanyards. It was a struggle to keep track of them. We would definitely rent this house again and most definitely come to the resort again. The communication between the Ember Stays agent and us was very good, I communicate communicated with him/her via text and they always got right back with me. Thank you Ember Stays.

This is one of the best homes we have rented. We had 4 families spanning in age all family coming down for a graduation and my birthday. The top floor is private and amazing views of the lagoon, watch your step on the small patio one of the floors is wobbles. Water pressure in the king en suite was okay. But love the ice machine in the third floor including the washer and dryer. Second Floor, most of everyone stayed on that floor, they said the water didn’t get very hot at all which was weird because the third floor did well in heat just not aloe of pressure. But the amazing decor and homie feel was spectacular. Main floor, so open and amazing, loved the space for us to lounge but not feel crowded the kids loved having their own pool which was heated and so nice because the lagoon was freezing. The BBQ works so well and amazing the sub zero fridge amazing. The microwave latch was broken but they came and tried to fix it (temporary fix, it broke right away but they tried) the whole space was truly one of a kind and so amazing, we would book this again and again just our family to have.

We had a wonderful stay at this location for a family reunion of 18 people ranging from three-year-olds to over 70. Space worked out beautifully and had plenty of bathrooms and showers which of course are very much in need after pool time and time in the lagoon. There was so much to do at the property and location, walking to Pickleball, having evenings in the pool, and days in the lagoon, was definitely a resort vibe I would highly recommend this location and Ember Stay is a wonderful host. Very proactive and communicative, and check out was an absolute breeze. Hope to come back to this fabulous property again.

We used this house for a family reunion. It was a great jumping off point for Snow canyon, Zion, and Bryce, with rest days spent around the pool doing various water activities. The house has great space for family meals and games at night. Pickle ball courts are a short walk away and downtown St. George was only 10-15 minutes away. They are also currently building restaurants at the entrance to the resort. The staff was extremely responsive to questions and concerns. I would stay here again.

Family reunion
This was a beautiful property and the location was perfectly located by the lagoon. Everything was so well maintained and the kitchen was well stocked with everything you might need to cook with. The lagoon and the pool were the biggest hit especially since we were there at the very hottest time of the summer. The lagoon was very refreshing! Lots of convenient amenities like pickleball and paddle boards. Very easy entrance and exit and the communication was great! Thank you!

Amazing place, excellent finishes. Perfect location. Provided amenities such as paddle boards helped to make the trip. The kitchen was stocked with all the essentials and more (i.e. waffle maker, insta-pot, etc.) The top floor deck was amazing and the private pool extended our days of fun each night. Would highly recommend for large groups. With multiple living spaces we shared great time together and could still find a quiet spot when needed. The many “primary bedrooms” with adjoining bathrooms meant many large families could stay here. One thing missing:a teapot!

The host was fabulous- communicated with us several times through the planning process, the stay, and after. The house is beautiful!!!! The location is awesome for the lagoon. The kitchen is stocked well with dishes and equipment. Loved the double fridge!! There was plenty of seating and plenty of beds. The number of bathrooms was also fabulous! There are several hangout areas- so great! It was a wonderful place to stay!

Great Stay
As I was planning the groups next golf outing, I came across this listing. As I booked it, I questioned whether the property would be the same as the pictures. First off, the pictures don’t do this house justice on the accommodations. It fit 12 adults comfortably and exceeded all of our expectations. I can recall hearing folks walking through the house with comments like, “amazing,” “beautiful,” “are you kidding me?” Second, the team at Ember vacations were super easy to work with and made sure we were comfortable and all of our questions were answered. They provided restaurant options as well as places we might be interested to go. I would recommend this house to anyone who has a large group who is looking for A+ accommodations.

Loved
We had a family reunion here and met a bunch of family here, the house is huge! We loved everything about it, it had plenty of beds and rooms for everyone. The kitchen was well stocked, and they had plenty of different appliances. The ice maker was a hit with all ages. Having the lagoon directly behind the house was our favorite part, we could walk right out whenever we wanted and when they closed it at dusk we could go to the pool in the backyard. We can't wait to come back to stay. Our host was also very quick to respond to any questions we had. Thanks for everything!
