Clearwater at Desert Color is a lagoon front luxury home located directly on the iconic two point five acre lagoon in St George. Designed by Becki Owens and inspired by Alys Beach, this professionally furnished retreat sleeps up to twenty eight guests and features a private heated pool with slide, hot tub, and expansive indoor and outdoor gathering spaces. With direct beach access and designer finishes throughout, Clearwater offers one of the most elevated group stays in Southern Utah.

Wow! We would recommend this place to anyone looking for an incredible house at Desert Color! We had 18 people in our family staying here, and we never once felt like it was too tight. The house is gorgeous; beds are super comfortable; plenty of indoor/outdoor seating; extra fridge space in the garage (not to mention the commercial size fridge/freezer in the kitchen); fully stocked with beach towels and water toys for the lagoon and pool; ping pong, chess, arcades, mini golf, and tvs in every space. We loved the water slide and having a pool to ourselves, so we didn’t have to fight crowds in the public pools and could go late night swimming. The pool/hot tub heated up quickly when we made adjustments when the weather cooled off. Having beach access right behind us was super convenient. We all keep saying we have to come back! It was perfect for a large group because it had spacious, comfortable gathering areas while also providing plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for privacy.

The location right on the lagoon was unbeatable and made the entire trip feel like a resort getaway. The home itself was exceptionally well stocked, honestly better than any place we’ve stayed before. There were so many thoughtful touches, and we ended up bringing several things we never even needed because everything was already there. It was the perfect setup for our group, and we made so many great memories. This will 100% be our go-to spot anytime we come to St. George with friends. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a seamless, elevated, and fun stay!

The location couldn’t be more perfect, right on the lagoon/beach, which made it so easy for the kids to play and for us to relax. The beds were extremely comfortable, and the sleeping arrangements and bathrooms were thoughtfully designed and perfect for groups with plenty of space, privacy, and everything felt high-end and well cared for. What really stood out was how well stocked everything was. From the kitchen (including all the essentials like dishwasher pods), to laundry supplies, to tons of kids toys, paddle boards, and indoor activities. They’ve truly thought of everything. On top of that, Ember Stays was extremely responsive and easy to work with the entire time, which made the experience even better. We’d absolutely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone without hesitation.
