If you are looking for a vacation rental the whole family is going to love, look no further than Chillin Out Maxin at Desert Color! This great unit offers comfy furnishings, a stunning rooftop deck, and a 3rd level living space that includes arcade games, a tent, and a large couch that converts to a sleeper sofa! Each bedroom has a connected bath and the kitchen is fully equipped with everything you’ll need. This home was designed with families in mind, and when it’s time to venture out, you’ll find yourself just a short walk away from The Shores Resort and it’s incredible resort pool and Lagoon!

At roughly 2.5 acres of surface area and sandy beaches, The Shores Resort Lagoon is the largest private body of water in the St. George area. The lagoon is the perfect place to swim, kayak, paddleboard, and much more! Recreation equipment can be rented on-site, as well as golf carts and cabanas (which can also be reserved at the time of booking). A gorgeous resort pool, 10-foot fire tables, and an oversized hot tub are just the beginning of the offerings at The Shores Resort. Roof-top Yoga classes, kid’s crafts and activities, 6 community pickleball courts, Food Truck nights, and even Dive-In Movies where you can watch a fun movie on the big screen from the pool or Lagoon are just some of the fun events you can experience when you stay at the Desert Color community!

Additionally, while staying at this property as our guest, you'll be able to take advantage of our local business partner discounts for attractions such as Tuacahn Amphitheater, Pizza Factory, Golf, and more!

We would like to advise you that during this time, the Desert Color Community is experiencing ongoing construction in close proximity to your vacation rental. While this will not impact your use of any of the provided amenities, we want to remind all guests to only use the designated and completed roads and pathways, and to steer clear of any active construction activity. This will ensure not only your safety but the safety of the construction workers. Thanks in advance for your consideration!

COLEWEST ONLY: Your key fob will also grant you access to the Springs Social Spa, an oversized hot tub area located on the corner of Marilla and Akoya Pearl Street. This is a gated area that a limited number of properties will have access to. The spa hours are 10 am to 10 pm.

This was a gorgeous property that I’d be happy to book again. It was clean, cozy, beautifully decorated with all of the necessities. Construction was extremely loud and the neighbors were also but that can’t be helped. Overall it was an excellent stay.

We have loved staying at Chillin Out Maxin! We've stayed twice and both trips couldn't have gone better. There is plenty of room for 2, maybe 3 small families. Beds are comfortable, it was perfectly cleaned both times. Easy to walk to the pool or lagoon which are both fantastic. We loved the modern decor and the kitchen was well appointed. We can't wait to go back!

We loved our stay. This being a newer community, it was between a 10-15 minute drive into “downtown” St. George, but that was not an issue. The unit was very clean, close to community amenities, everything labeled making it easy to find within unit, and very kid friendly. My kids LOVED the bunk room and the arcade games/other games on the top floor. Staying here made our vacation even better!

Reservation Guarantee

Our reservation guarantee allows you to book a trip with confidence. You will be entitled to refunds and rescheduling options not otherwise provided to guests who have opted “out” of this program. Without the reservation guarantee you will have a zero cancellation policy and zero reschedule policy. There will be absolutely no refunds unless Desert Color Resort is notified within 24 hours of the reservation being made. 24 hours after booking, should you have to cancel your reservation at any point, for any reason, you will lose what you’ve paid up to that point. By not purchasing the reservation guarantee, you will accept that you forfeit all monies paid if you have to cancel your reservation.

The Reservation Guarantee allows for:

A full refund 15+ days prior to arrival for 2-5 bedroom properties.
A full refund 45+ days prior to arrival for 6+ bedroom properties.

For cancellations made outside of the 45 or 15 days, Desert Color Resort refunds the entire amount of your payments made minus the cost of the reservation guarantee (which is only 7% of the total rent).

For cancellations made inside of the 45 or 15 day time frame, when refunds are no longer available, you will be allowed to reschedule your stay in that same property within 12 months, but no monies will be refunded. After the 12 months, all monies are forfeited.

Without the Reservation Guarantee, absolutely no refunds.
