At roughly 2.5 acres of surface area and sandy beaches, The Shores Resort Lagoon is the largest private body of water in the St. George area. The lagoon is the perfect place to swim, kayak, paddleboard, and much more! Recreation equipment can be rented on-site, as well as golf carts and cabanas. Two gorgeous resort pools, oversized hot tubs, ample shaded seating, and 10-foot fire tables are just the beginning of the offerings at The Shores Resort. The Desert Color community hosts fun activities throughout the year—like rooftop yoga, kid’s crafts, food truck nights, and even dive-in movies on the big screen at the pool or lagoon. These events are offered on a rotating basis, so be sure to check the Desert Color event calendar for the latest schedule during your stay!

**Your key fob will also grant you access to the Springs Social Spa, an oversized hot tub area located on the corner of Marilla and Akoya Pearl Street. This is a gated area that a limited number of properties will have access to. The spa hours are 10 am to 10 pm.

There is a designated parking lot for RVs, trailers, and boats. The cost is
$15 per vehicle per stay. All vehicles must be registered in advance to park in this lot. Please contact
our team prior to arrival for registration details and instructions.

We would like to advise you that during this time, the Desert Color Community is experiencing ongoing construction in proximity to your vacation rental. While this will not impact your use of any of the provided amenities, we want to remind all guests only to use the designated and completed roads and pathways, and to steer clear of any active construction activity. Great little house to stay at! Clean, and had any utensils we needed. The lagoon was amazing, and there are 2 paddle boards to use at the house. The upper deck and patio were nice to eat breakfast on, and sit under the stars. The only thing I would change is add more towel hooks to the shared bathroom.

Highly recommend staying here - I came with my husband as part of our honeymoon to be close to Zion but we actually ended up spending a tonne of time being lazy at the pool and lagoon as it was so gorgeous. The property itself was beautifully furnished, spotless and spacious (for just the two of us it was huge) with literally everything you could need. The staff themselves were so helpful with the person on the airbnb chat so friendly and quick to respond. They’re currently building the community up a lot and I know restaurants etc are coming soon, but at the moment all I could see was a soft drink bar at the pool - St George was a $50 round trip in an Uber so we basically cooked every night or got Uber Eats. If you’re looking to go out for dinner loads it will involve driving. But the home’s fully equipped kitchen and BBQ, close proximity to Walmart and the roof terrace with fire pit meant that we were very happy to stay in!

We came up for a quick weekend getaway and really enjoyed our stay. The Breakaway was clean and had everything you could want, the communication was awesome with the Red Rock Vacation Rental team, and the paddleboards were a blast at the lagoon. This is not the fault of the rental but St. George gets a lot of Summer storms that show up for 45 minutes of lightning and rain which closed down the lagoon on us but we got a few hours in before that happened. We loved the lagoon...it is a must when it is 116 degrees outside. The AC in the rental was perfect the whole time we were there. This unit faces a grassy area, ideal for the kids playing corn hole. The pool/jacuzzi was immediately to the right of the unit but people were respectful and you couldn\'t hear them at all. I would come back and highly recommend Breakaway at the Desert Color #91.
