If you are ready to escape to paradise, look no further than staying at Cowabungalow! Nestled in the up-and-coming vacation community of Desert Color, you’ll find all that you need to have a great stay! You will love the main floor master bedroom and ensuite, with the fully equipped kitchen just steps away. The second floor will have 2 more bedrooms for you to spread out to, and then the third level loft houses two triple bunk beds, a TV, and a Ms. Pac-Man along with Galaga and many other arcade game choices for hours of fun! Be sure to save time to stargaze off your rooftop deck that’s full of comfy furniture and a fire table! When you are ready, but sure to walk over to The Shores Resort to enjoy all the fun amenities and the Lagoon!

At roughly 2.5 acres of surface area and sandy beaches, The Shores Resort Lagoon is the largest private body of water in the St. George area. The lagoon is the perfect place to swim, kayak, paddleboard, and much more! Recreation equipment can be rented on-site, as well as golf carts and cabanas (which can also be reserved at the time of booking). A gorgeous resort pool, 10-foot fire tables, and an oversized hot tub are just the beginning of the offerings at The Shores Resort. Roof-top Yoga classes, kid’s crafts and activities, 6 community pickleball courts, Food Truck nights, and even Dive-In Movies where you can watch a fun movie on the big screen from the pool or Lagoon are just some of the fun events you can experience when you stay at the Desert Color community!

Your key fob will also grant you access to the Springs Social Spa, an oversized hot tub area located on the corner of Marilla and Akoya Pearl Street. This is a gated area that a limited number of properties will have access to. The spa hours are 10 am to 10 pm.

Additionally, while staying at this property as our guest, you'll be able to take advantage of our local business partner discounts for attractions such as Tuacahn Amphitheater, Pizza Factory, Golf, and more!

Please be advised that the HOA of this community may host private events up to one time a month at the resort pool or lagoon beaches. This may result in temporarily unavailable access to some of the amenities. However, activities and events are occurring throughout the month so be sure to check the Desert Color Resort website calendar for events happening during your stay.

We would like to advise you that during this time, the Desert Color Community is experiencing ongoing construction in close proximity to your vacation rental. While this will not impact your use of any of the provided amenities, we want to remind all guests to only use the designated and completed roads and pathways, and to steer clear of any active construction activity. This will ensure not only your safety but the safety of the construction workers. Thanks in advance for your consideration!

This was a great place to stay. They were great to work with and very friendly. The Lagoon was closed while we were there but it looks like it would be amazing and I want to come back when it is open. It works well for a large group or family.

We loved our stay at Red Rock Vacation Rentals! The condo was immaculate, comfortable, and quiet. Beautiful scenery, walking paths, and swimming. Host was responsive and communicative! Condo was child friendly and still lovely! Great amenities! We hope to stay with them again!

We loved our stay at Red Rock! The accommodations were comfortable and clean! We especially loved the space inside. The triple bunk beds (x2) were fabulous for our 5 kiddos to have their own space, and the adults could actually have their own space and beds (not having to share with a wild toddler sleeper). Extra bathrooms were great. Amenities were spot on. The area was quiet and had space to explore on trails, etc. The host was responsive and helpful with questions, etc. This was a wonderful first Airbnb experience--so much better than a hotel! Grateful to Red Rock for making our stay pleasant and wonderful! If we are down this direction again, we would love to stay here again!

It was perfect for our large family of 11. A minimal walk to the pool and lagoon. And the spa was right out our door. The green space was a perfect place for the children to play when we weren’t swimming. The rooftop seating with fire pit was amazing.

The rooftop patio with a fire place was super awesome as well. The owners were wonderful to work with and the location of the rental was amazing. We loved having access to the pool and lagoon. Plus it was super close to other St. George attractions. Would definitely come back!

I was really blown away by this rental. The amenities are incredible (pools, lagoon, clubhouse), the house is clean and spacious, and the location is perfect. Despite all there is to do in and around St. George, we probably spent just as much time hanging out at the house we loved it so much. We're already looking at dates to come back soon!

The Cowabungalow is awesome; we especially loved the top-floor outdoor patio with the firepit. Also, the clubhouse area and lagoon in the community are amazing - I've never stayed anywhere with something like it. Home was clean, surprisingly spacious, and beautiful. The beds in the rooms are very comfortable, and the top floor is great for kids.

Reservation Guarantee

Our reservation guarantee allows you to book a trip with confidence. You will be entitled to refunds and rescheduling options not otherwise provided to guests who have opted “out” of this program. Without the reservation guarantee you will have a zero cancellation policy and zero reschedule policy. There will be absolutely no refunds unless Desert Color Resort is notified within 24 hours of the reservation being made. 24 hours after booking, should you have to cancel your reservation at any point, for any reason, you will lose what you’ve paid up to that point. By not purchasing the reservation guarantee, you will accept that you forfeit all monies paid if you have to cancel your reservation.

The Reservation Guarantee allows for:

A full refund 15+ days prior to arrival for 2-5 bedroom properties.
A full refund 45+ days prior to arrival for 6+ bedroom properties.

For cancellations made outside of the 45 or 15 days, Desert Color Resort refunds the entire amount of your payments made minus the cost of the reservation guarantee (which is only 7% of the total rent).

For cancellations made inside of the 45 or 15 day time frame, when refunds are no longer available, you will be allowed to reschedule your stay in that same property within 12 months, but no monies will be refunded. After the 12 months, all monies are forfeited.

Without the Reservation Guarantee, absolutely no refunds.
