As part of our upcoming Día de la Vida | Celebration of Life, we invite you to create a Nicho—a small shadowbox remembrance display honoring someone special who has passed.
Inspired by the beautiful traditions of Día de los Muertos, Nichos are meaningful works of art created to remember and celebrate the lives of loved ones and beloved pets. They can be colorful, whimsical, heartfelt, or beautifully simple—there is no right or wrong way to tell a story.
WHO WILL YOU HONOR?
A beloved parent or grandparent.
A dear friend.
A cherished child.
A beloved pet.
Someone whose memory still brings a smile to your face.
Fill your Nicho with photographs, favorite objects, flowers, meaningful symbols, artwork, or little reminders of what made them special. Let your creativity tell their story.
THE NICHO GALLERY
Submitted Nichos will be proudly displayed during our Día de la Vida celebration, creating a beautiful community gallery of remembrance, love, and life. Guests will have the opportunity to vote for their favorite Nicho, with special recognition for the display that captures their heart. Amazing prizes will be awarded for the Nicho with the most votes!
This is more than a creative project—it’s an opportunity to honor a life, preserve a memory, and share a story with our community.
